media production internship
An intern must be kind, committed, and respectful of RDM’s procedures.
Responsibilities
-
Create RDM digital products (USBs and DVDs) and oversee product inventory.

Assist in the production, editing, and marketing of weekly Radical Radio episodes.

Assist in the production and development of new digital teaching materials and Ecourses.

Begin and complete various design projects such as videos, photos, and advertisements. Projects include photo & video editing for a variety of aspects of the ministry

Organizing, editing and producing photos and footage to create compelling stories and engaging videos
-
Assist with social media strategy and planning.

Strategize ways to build on & improve current media production methods, products, and media formats.

One face to face meet up with a supervisor/staff member a week.

Willingness to undergo a variety of office tasks, ministry tasks, etc
Requirements
-
Degree or former experience in media production
-
A functioning knowledge of general editing procedures. Sufficient understanding of media production, design
-
Writing skills is a plus.

Solid understanding of social media, design
-
Ability to learn quickly, self teach
-
Ability to operate high tech camera equipment
-
Ability to problem solve and learn quickly, adaptively
-
Ability to work independently and without daily supervision
-
Comfortability with online programs, databases, or the like.

Strong Christian character inside and outside of ministry
-
Passionate commitment to seeing Muslims in the Middle East coming to Christ, seeing people around the world being mobilized to impact cities
-
Willingness to fulfill full contracted agreement; ideally choosing between 15-20 hours a week for 6 months

Must be flexible for travel

Must live in or relocate to the DFW metroplex

Consistent attentiveness to phone/email (all requests should be responded to on a day-of basis, besides weekends, unless otherwise discussed).
